    THAT the Council of the Town of Minto conduct a meeting Closed to the public to consider the following:

  • RESOLUTION:
    THAT Council of the Town of Minto resume into open Council.

  • RESOLUTION:
    THAT Council receives the Closed Session report regarding personal information about an identifiable individual - Compensation Review;
    AND FURTHER THAT Council approves the confidential direction to staff.

  • RESOLUTION:
    THAT minutes of the Town of Minto May 6, 2025 Closed Session meeting and May 6, 2025 Regular Council meeting be approved.

  • RECOMMENDATION:
    THAT the Council of the Town of Minto hereby receives report PLN 2024-005 for the proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment ZBA 2024-09 – Cachet Homes Inc, for lands legally described as PART OF LOT 61, CONESSSION D (VILLAGE OF CLIFFORD), TOWN OF MINTO, COUNTY OF WELLINGTON, with municipal addresses of 41 Park St W, Clifford, for information purposes;
    AND FURTHER THAT the Council of the Town of Minto considers passing a By-law at a subsequent Council Meeting.

  • RECOMMENDATION:
    THAT the Council of the Town of Minto hereby receives report PLN 2024-006 for the proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment (ZBA 2024-10) – 2396584 Ontario Inc/Doug Taylor, for lands legally described as Concession D Part Lot 114 RP;61R8320 Part 1, and municipally know as 6739 Wellington Road 109, Teviotdale, Town of Minto, for information purposes.

  • RECOMMENDATION:
    THAT the Council of the Town of Minto recommends the County of Wellington Land Division Committee approve Consent Application B9/25 – 1998050 Ontario Ltd. c/o Robert Harris, for land legally described as LOT 7 PT LOT 8, with a municipal address of 167 Margaret St, Harriston, in the Town of Minto, and that the following conditions be considered:

    1. THAT the owner/applicant satisfies all the requirements of the Town of Minto of the following:
      1. Financial and otherwise, which the Town of Minto may deem necessary for the proper and orderly development of the subject lands, including but not limited to the payment of any monies owed to the Town of Minto, and ensuring that all accounts are in good standing;
      2. Parkland dedication as provided for in the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, including, where applicable, paying cash-in-lieu of parkland in the amount of $500 per lot or as specified in the applicable policy of the Town;
      3. Frontage fees, where applicable and as required by the Town, have been paid to the satisfaction of the Town; 
        and further, that the Town of Minto file with the Secretary-Treasurer of the Planning and Land Division Committee a letter of clearance of this condition.
    2. THAT the owner/applicant confirms they are aware of the following:
      1. That development costs of the parcel(s) are solely the responsibility of the developer.
      2. That servicing and right-of-way works required for any future development of the parcels must be completed in conformance with The Town of Minto Procurement By law and in accordance with the Town’s Service Extension & Connection Policy and Municipal Servicing & Design Standards;
      3. That there is satisfactory access for both the severed and retained parcels, an Entrance Permit can be obtained from the road authority with jurisdiction, to the satisfaction of the Town of Minto; 
        and further, that the Town of Minto file with the Secretary-Treasurer of the Planning and Land Division Committee a letter of clearance of this condition.
    3. THAT a satisfactory Grading, Drainage & Servicing Plan, in accordance with the Town’s Building By-law, is submitted and approved by the Town; and further, that the Town of Minto file with the Secretary-Treasurer of the Planning and Land Division Committee a letter of clearance of this condition.
    4. THAT The owner obtains a Building Permit for the newly created lots from the Town of Minto and pay the associated fees; and further, that the Town of Minto file with the Secretary-Treasurer of the Planning and Land Division Committee a letter of clearance of this condition.
    5. THAT zoning compliance be achieved to the satisfaction of the Town of Minto; and further that the Town of Minto file with the Secretary-Treasurer of the Planning and Land Division Committee a letter of clearance of this condition.
  • RECOMMENDATION:
    THAT the Council of the Town of Minto hereby receives report FIN 2025-007 2025 Tax Rating By-law, prepared by the Deputy Treasurer/Revenue Coordinator, for information purposes;
    AND FURTHER THAT the Council of the Town of Minto considers passing By-law 2025-025 in open session.

  • RESOLUTION:
    THAT the Committee of the Whole convenes into Regular Council.

  • RESOLUTION:
    THAT the Council of the Town of Minto ratifies the motions made in the Committee of the Whole.

  • RESOLUTION:
    THAT By-laws 2025-025 be read a first, second, third time and passed in Open council and sealed with the seal of the Corporation.

  • RESOLUTION:
    THAT By-law 2025-026; To confirm actions of the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Minto respecting a meeting held May 20, 2025; be read a first, second, third time and passed in open Council and sealed with the seal of the Corporation.

  • RESOLUTION:
    THAT The Council of the Town of Minto adjourns to meet again at the call of the Mayor.
