• RECOMMENDATION:
  THAT Council of the Town of Minto receives the Economic Development and Planning Committee minutes of December 5, 2024 for information and approves any recommendations contained therein.

Staff Reports

1.

County of Wellington Planning Department, OP-2024-03: Official Plan Amendment - Part Lot 61, Concession D, 41 Park Street Clifford

• RECOMMENDATION:
  THAT Council of the Town of Minto receives the report regarding Draft Official Plan Amendment for 41 Park Street in Clifford prepared by the County of Wellington Planning Department as information;
  AND FURTHER THAT Council supports this Official Plan Amendment as proposed.

2.

FIN 2024-025, 2025 Operating and Capital Budget Adoption

• RECOMMENDATION:
  THAT the Council of the Town of Minto hereby receives report FIN 2024-025 2025 Operating and Capital Budget Adoption, prepared by the Treasurer, for information purposes;
  AND FURTHER THAT the 2025 Current Budget for the Town of Minto, as presented on November 5, 2024, and amended on November 26, 2024, be approved;
  AND FURTHER THAT the 2025 Capital Budget for the Town of Minto as presented on November 26, 2024, be approved; and
  AND FURTHER THAT the Council of the Town of Minto considers passing the related By-law in open session.

CL 2024-012, City of Guelph (EMS) Agreement

• RECOMMENDATION:
  THAT the Council of the Town of Minto hereby receives report CL 2024-012 City of Guelph (EMS) Agreement, prepared by the Clerk, for Information purposes;
  AND FURTHER THAT an amending By-law for the continued lease of 122 Robertson Street, Harriston be considered during open session.

CL 2024-013, Appointment Bylaw Updates

• RECOMMENDATION:
  THAT the Council of the Town of Minto hereby receives report CL 2024-013 Appointment By-law Update, prepared by the Clerk, for information purposes;
  AND FURTHER THAT a By-law reflecting the changes made to the Appointment By-law be considered during open session;
  AND FURTHER THAT a By-law reflecting the change to the Committee of Adjustment for the alternate Secretary-Treasurer be considered during open session.
